1. Understanding the Challenge
The goal of this project was to create an SEO-optimized website that provides clear, actionable gaming PC repair guides. The challenge was to make technical content accessible, engaging, and easily discoverable on search engines while maintaining a clean, user-friendly design.
2. Research & Insights
I began by analyzing competitors’ websites and performing keyword research to understand what gamers were searching for, including terms like “PC not posting,” “GPU overheating,” and “laptop black screen.” I also reviewed analytics data to identify common user pain points, such as difficulty finding step-by-step repair solutions and slow-loading pages on mobile devices.
3. Ideation & Planning
Based on my research, I created a content and site structure plan that prioritized the most searched topics. I sketched wireframes for a streamlined layout that would guide users through troubleshooting steps efficiently. I also planned visuals, including diagrams and screenshots, to complement the text and improve comprehension.
4. Execution & Optimization
Using WordPress, I built the site with a focus on speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices. I optimized content with targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and alt text for images. Technical improvements included image compression, lazy loading, and ensuring fast load times across devices.
Results & Learnings
The website now ranks on the first page for several high-volume keywords, and user engagement metrics, such as time on page and return visits, have improved significantly.
